Indiana Trip

Happy Birthday Kaitlyn and Nana!!

The girls moving in for the dessert...
 So sweet!
Ffamily picture---long overdue and not everyone is looking at the camera but at least everyone is smiling.  That's a plus!
Daddy teaching Isabella how to play pool.
She actually did quite well.  We may have a pool shark on our hands!  Or--just on the table.

Setting the Table

I asked the girls to set the table tonight.  I just handed them some paper towels and utensils.  When I walked outside this is what I saw.  Super cute!
Of course daddy was a huge fan because of this little guy.  Isabella calls him" Santa Claus."

Last Day of Preschool

Today was the girls last day of school.  We took some pictures early this morning to commemorate the event.  Where's Isabella???

 There she is....
Can't believe this little munchkin will be in the 3's next year....
More unbelievable is that this one will be starting Kindergarten!!!
 So sweet!
I got a call from school this morning saying Iris had fell on the playground and had a swollen eye.  Seeing the school's number show up on my phone is NEVER a good feeling.  I was on my way to the school anyway for her party so I was there within minutes.  Sure enough, the little thing had  a bloody and swollen eye.  She was pretty subdued the rest of the morning.  This is not how Iris usually acts at school...
She was a brave little trooper though and wiped her tears and smiled for her diploma.
Mrs. McGreevy and Mrs. Merrick are fabulous teachers.  Iris learned so much and had a great year!
Then they had a little snack and cupcakes for the ones with summer birthdays...
 Ouchy!!!
After school we went to the park and played in the water fountain with some friends.  I didn't get any pictures--too many kids!  I think that made Iris a little happier and less focused on her eye.  When we got home she looked in the mirror and told me she was happy that it was "such a pretty shade of purple"---hysterical!  Here she is resting with her "cool cucumber." She was asleep within minutes.  Not the best way to end the year but she had fun anyway.
Congratulations Girls!

Isabella End of year Party

We had Isabella's End of The Year Party on Tuesday (Thursday will actually be her last day).  We had a pool and ice cream party.  The kids had a blast!
( A special thanks to daddy for picking up the 1, no 2---umm, I mean 4 pools!)

 Squishy Fishy...
Eating ice cream with her friends...

After the party we presented Mrs. Stair and Mrs. Tyner with plates made with the kids thumbprints.  I wish I would have taken a better picture but you get the idea.  We just did the thumbprints and EarthArtPottery did the rest.  I thought they turned out great and the teachers loved them!

Strawberry Picking

I am lucky to have an amazing group of moms that I have become friends with through Iris' class.  Not only are our kids in the same class but almost each of us has another younger sibling around the same age or in one case in class with Isabella as well!  On Fridays we are all school free and sometimes get together.  Today we decided to take all the kids to Ambrose Farms to pick strawberries.  I think we had about 11 kids total.

Isabella saying "cheese" while eating and picking strawberries at the same time...
Iris and her girls--Charlotte, Rory and Ellie.
 That's a good one!

Iris, Charlotte, Rory, Ellie, Parker, Fletch, Teddy and Hollis.  There were 3 more running around somewhere!  What a great way to spend a Friday afternoon!
