Ballet Class

 

Here are a few pictures of Iris' last day of ballet.  They do not do a "program' because the kids are just too young.  However, on the last day they allow the parents to come in and observe  class.

 

It was pretty easy to entertain Isabella in the lobby while Iris and Clara danced.  This year will be much harder.  I know she's going to want to do ballet too!

Summer Fun

Just some super cute pictures I took of the girls at a friends birthday party. They got their goodie bags, sat down, and dug right in....

Marble Racing

Due to my Pinterest addiction, I have found some really great Toddler Activities. I pulled one out tonight and gave it a try.  It's suppose to be Marble Racing.  The girls loved it.  However, they did not understand that they were supposed to start their marbles at the same time and see which one reached the finish line first.  Instead, they just put as many marbles down the ramp as fast as they could.  I was chasing marbles all over the place.  They had a blast though!

Jack and the Candlestick

Iris has been learning about Nursery Rhymes at school.  Today they learned about Kack and the Candlestick. She came home with a candlestick and a little man (aka Jack) on a popsicle stick.  Here's a video of her showing daddy what she learned.

End of the Year Class Picnic

Today was Iris' End of the Year Picnic. They have been studying different nursery rhymes this semester so it was a nursery rhyme theme--very cute.  It was held at the James Island County Park. It was a pretty hot day and Isabella would have been happier at home in the A/C.  She hung in there though while Iris played with her friends. Here she is getting ready for the "potato sack race."

Of course the best part was the "sheep cake pops" for "Little Bo' Peep."  Isabella finally perked up a bit once she saw the food.

Yea Iris!  We are so proud of you.  Here she is with her teacher Mrs. Game and teacher's assistant, Ms. Tanner.  Iris LOVES Ms. Tanner!  We are truly going to miss her!

Last Day of Toddler Time

Today was Isabella's last day of Toddler Time.  I just love her teachers, Margie, Ellen and Nancy. They were super sweet and loved Isabella. We will certainly miss them!
I tried my best to get the below pictures side by side by my computer skills are lacking. The first is today's picture and the second is the picture I took on her first day of Toddler Time. She has grown so much!

One of may favorite things about Toddler Time this year was all of the adorable arts and crafts projects she brought home.  I even framed a "painting" and have it hanging in her room.  The one below is currently on a tiny easel on my dresser.  It's called "Rainbow Drops."

Isabella got a super special treat on her last day too---Daddy made a surpsise visit!
