Summer Fun---June

June has been a lot warmer and summer is in full swing!  Here's Iris and her buddies at swim lessons...

 

 Isabella and her friend, Teddy, went to VBS together.  The last day was dress up day.  The Princess and her Knight could not be cuter!

 Iris spent a week at Nature Trailers camp aka "Pluff Mud Camp."

 Summer would not be complete without a slip-n-slide.

 I get tired just watching them!

 The highlight of June was getting a chance to tour Air Force 2 while it was here in Charleston.  The girls were unimpressed but hopefully this picture will mean something to them one day.

Summer Fun-May

Summer has gotten off to a great start.  The girls have been playing in their new playhouse...

  

 The have become huge Riverdogs fans....

  

 

 

 We visited our friends, The Shelton's, at the zoo.

Iris worked on her climbing skills.  She is getting very good...

 We visited the Indianapolis Childrens Museum.  The girls loved this little mirror room.

 They had a blast excavating for dinosaur bones.

 and last but not least, just having some creative fun playing together at home!

Last Day of School Festivities!

The last week of school was a little crazy. Isabella's official  last day of school was Thursday.  I took this sweet picture to commemorate the event.  However, she had a field trip Friday at Magnolia Gardens to celebrate the end of the year with her class.  They found some pretty interesting animals at the petting zoo.

 After Magnolia Gardens we returned to school to meet this cutie for her End of The Year Party. That would be a flower painted on her nose...

 Of course this party crasher had to get her face painted too!

Iris' Kindergraten Graduation

 Iris' Kindergarten Graduation ceremony was Wednesday night.  It was very cute.  They sang a lot of songs and she did the Shag with her friend, Wells.

 These pictures are not the best but I still had to include them.  The dance was adorable!!  

 Receiving her diploma from her teachers, Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Meyers.  We will certainly miss them!

Happy Easter

This year we asked the Easter Bunny to wait and stop by our house while we were at church. 

It made the morning go MUCH smoother (not to mention perfectly behaved girls during church)!

 

It was a bit cold and muddy and again, I didn't take many pictures.  Isabella put an egg in the one I did manage to get.

Isabellas 4th birthday party!

Isabella is 4 years old!!  I can't believe it. She is getting so big, it makes me super sad! Oh well. For her birthday she wanted a Team Umizoomi party at Chuck E. Cheese so we made it happen.

Her cake was made by Kelly who works in Brad's office.  She does a great job and her cakes are delicious!

There she goes!!  So we figured out a secret to the ticket blaster--wear a tutu!  All the tickets get stuck in it so it really doesn't matter how many you catch.  We were picking tickets out of her tutu forever!
