Halloween

Halloween was super busy.  I attended the Halloween carnival with each girls class as well as their class parties.  Here's Isabella getting ready to go to her Carnival... 

 The elephant is the most popular game.  The kids feed him and he spits out a prize from his trunk..

 Back to class for some super yummy treats!

 Then I was off to take Iris to the Carnival.  Here she is with her friend, Fletch.

 The 4 year olds know the tricks.  They skip the games and go straight to the big treasure chest to dig for prizes....

The next day we wemt Trick or Treating with some friends.  Clara and Iris stuck together, as usual.

 Isabella took the easy seat and rode in the wagon.

This year we decided to go to MGM Studios.  Not a ton for little ones to do there but we were able to get some good photos...

 The last night we roasted marshmallows on the beach at our hotel. As usual, the girls would not cooperate for a photo...

FreshBeat Band Concert

I met some friends and took the girls to the FreshBeat Band Concert. Here they are dressed and ready to go!

 More waiting for the concert to begin.  My friend Courtney and her boys Hugh and Julian were also  with us.  However the girls seemed to band together and I could never get a picture of everyone.  Sorry Courtney!

They pretty much stood and danced the whole time.  They had a blast!

Lizard Land

Today while Iris was playing on the back porch she saw a lizard and then asked me what they ate.  I told her bugs and leaves (I have no idea). Then she asked for a bowl of water, an empty bowl, stickers and scissors.   I obliged and she stayed out there playing quietly by herself for about an hour. When I asked what she was making she said "Lizard Land."   Here she is posing with her completed Lizard Land. 

 Apparently, it's much more involved than I thought (yes that's a happy easter sticker and it's October  but we were running low on stickers). She explained that the leaves cut in half with the stickers on them were "hot air balloons for the lizards"...

Silly, I know, but I was truly impressed with her creativity and attention to detail!
