My nieces and nephew were off for Spring Break so mom and I decided to take everyone out to Mepkin Abbey one afternoon. Mepkin Abbey is community of Roman Catholic Monks. They live on a beautiful plantation on the Cooper River. It's a nice place to visit with gardens, statues and a little shop that sells all kind of goodies made by Trappist monks. I let Ashton use my camera and he took hundreds of random pictures. Instead of weeding through them all I decided to just post photos of us with the kids. This is a statue carved out of a tree.
Ashton took this one. I seriously did not know Iris was making that face!
Sweet, sweet grandchildren!!
