Tis' the Season!

We officially kicked off the Holiday season on Thursday night. My parents came over and we all went to James Island County Park to do the Holiday Festival of Lights walk. It seemed to take forever for them to close the park to traffic so we could start the walk through the lights.
Papa helped to keep Isabella entertained...
while mom tried to keep Iris from eating her toxic glow in the dark necklace....
At last it was time to go. Isabella got all snuggled in and stayed awake for the whole walk even though it was well past her bedtime. She enjoyed looking at all the lights and if there was a moment or two when she could not see any she would start fussing until we got to the next set. Iris enjoyed it as well. She sang most of the way and played with that darn toxic glow necklace.
Here's the whole gang....
After the walk we stayed for a hot chocolate to roast some marshmallows. Iris loved the roasted marshmallows. She squished them in her hands and made a mess. I had to peel one out of her fingers before putting her into the car. She was a sticky mess but we had a great time!

Isabella looks more like a cute little elf too. Great time enjoyed the walk w/the grandkids.
Let's do it again!
