Fishing at the Dock

After the Colts game on Sunday we took everyone to the dock for some fishing. Isabella enjoyed the outdoors, especially with her new "Off" bug repellent fan clipped to the side of her bouncy seat. Go Colts! Iris enjoyed fishing with daddy from the boat. Yes, the boat is still on the lift and they are not going anywhere but she did not seem to mind. I think she thinks daddy caught this shrimp. No one had the heart to tell her what daddy was really doing with it.

We did not have any luck with the fishing but daddy caught some minnows with the cast net and as far as Iris is concerned that is even better. Iris LOVES minnows. I thought she would be terrified but she just laughs and giggles and asks to hold them. She won't pick them up but wants you to put them in her hand for her. Then she throws them back in the water one by one. Unfortunately her aim is not too good and they end up hitting the deck a couple of times before she finally gets them in the water. Poor Fishies.

Then it was back to the house for a non-fish dinner and bed. ( No, Isabella is not in that bouncy seat, she was with me.)
