Easter Egg Decorating

The last week has been busy so we did not get a chance to dye Easter eggs until Saturday night. We set up a table for Iris to work. Here she is waiting for her eggs. Trying to get her to keep them in the dye for a few minutes took some convincing.... she got a little over excited and accidently stuck her finger through one. Guess that one won't make it into the egg salad.

Daddy with paper towel in hand----his never ending quest to keep messes to a minimum. After egg decorating Iris made a plate of snacks for the Easter Bunny. Iris didn't quite get the whole Santa thing last Christmas. This Easter holiday was exciting though because seemed to understand that the Easter Bunny was coming. For days now she's been saying, "Mommy easter bunny come see you...(rambling)......basket.......(more rambling)....chocolate candy right?" To me, that means she understood.
